Carrie Niland is an award-winning photographer based in Syracuse, NY. Her work has appeared in numerous publications including The Washington Post, The Seattle Times, Newsweek, Time, USA Today and ESPN magazine.

After receiving a Masters of Photography from Syracuse University's Newhouse School of Communications, Carrie worked as a newspaper photojournalist for nearly 5 years up and down the east coast. She then worked as a picture editor which led to jobs at The Seattle Times and AOL.

As a photojournalist, Carrie has photographed everything from major hurricanes in Florida, presidential primaries in New Hampshire, to the Daytona 500 and the Super Bowl. These experiences have provided her with the skills to not only find the moment in any given situation but to capture it in a unique, creative way.
